These are the storyboards for Tekkonkinkreet (12 volumes). Every plan for 111 min film is compressed into the 671 pages.

Here’s what’s inside. You can see a scene number on the left, drawings in "picture," instructions in "action, " and dialogue & time code.

Every scene is carefully created according to the storyboards!

See, storyboards are blueprints of a film.
Hope you’ll enjoy looking at storyboards while watching the complete film, seeing the difference, and feeling the production process!

UK Techno masters Plaid's soundtrack helps bring Taiyo Matsumoto's profound, poetic work to vivid life. The main characters WHITE and BLACK were voiced by Kazuya Ninomiya from the Japanese popular singer group ARASHI and young performing actress Yu Aoi.
